“Right Thought” means that you are ready
to leave this world of delusion,

that you do not have evil thoughts,

and that you do not want to hurt others.

My fellow monks! This is “Right Thought.”

A wise person does not bicker over little things. The more you give, the more blessings you get. If you can get along with all people, you will receive many blessings.

In our daily lives, we need to pay attention to the existence of suffering and the law of cause and effect. If we can keep these in mind, then this is “Right Thought.”

Many of our members drop out of the Tzu Chi Collegiate Association after a while. How can we keep them from quitting?

We should all care about one another. However, don’t blame others for dropping out. You should be mindful of your own behavior. It is not necessarily good to let extracurricular activities affect your grades. A student’s basic duty is to do well in school.
